The club is aiming to be a highly competitive entity in both Scottish and British rowing. Results have seen a huge improvement in the last couple of years and continue to follow an upward curve. We are consistently the highest ranking non-GB funded programme in Scotland. We regularly send athletes to represent Scotland at HIR each summer. Outstanding performances resulted in our first gold medals at BUCS Regatta last season, as well as breaking the top 50 at WEHORR, winning the Medium Academic Club Pennant at HORR, being quarter finalists at Henley Women’s Regatta and semi-finalists and the furthest-progressing Scottish crew at Henley Royal Regatta. We are also the Saints Sport Club of the Year 2020.
We were founded in 1962 by the late John Browne, rowing out of a boathouse at Guardbridge on the Eden Estuary. From humble beginnings, we have sustained John’s dedication and love for the club and we are proud of our journey to becoming the high-performance programme we are today.
Now based at Lochore in Fife, we are a fast developing and competitive club, open to all regardless of experience- we have a thriving novice programme training alongside our successful senior squads.
Whether a prospective student, alumni, or supporter, we encourage you to get in contact and stay up to date with all of our successes to come.
